Search for Constructions, Streets and Scenic spots

This website mainly provides the search for constructions, streets and scenic spots. By default, the search option will be “all information”,which means processing the search to the three items simultaneously. Please input a keyword and click the search button, the system will find out all items of constructions, streets and scenic spots relevant to the keyword. The search to a specific range can also be set in the search option, e.g. the system will only undergo the street search, if the street option is chosen.

 

Search for a Construction by address

By inputting an address in the form of “a street name, a house number” and click the search button, the system will find out all relevant items. Be careful that the number of house number can be more than one, with a comma/commas “,” for separation, e.g. “Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro 39,98”.

 

Can an incomplete name be searched?

All Constructions, streets and scenic spots can be searched with an incomplete name. Taking a construction search as an example, if you search “Complexo Municipal do Mercado de S.Lourenço”, you can either input “Municipal do Mercado” or “Mercado de S.Lourenço”, or even “Mercado” or “S.Lourenço”, with a space for separating words and then click search, the system will find out all relevant items.

 

How to check the search result

The search result of a construction will display the name and address of the construction in Chinese and Portuguese. Click its name to display the construction on the map.

The search result of a street will display the name of the street in Chinese and Portuguese. Click its name to display the street on the map.

The search result of a scenic spot will display the name of the scenic spot in Chinese and Portuguese. Click its name to display the scenic spot on the map.

Each page can display 10 search results. If the number of search result is more than 10, they will be distributed into pages, check the results by clicking page numbers.

Only five search records are stored currently.

Map Navigation Operation

   Map Navigation with Toolbar:
Zoom in (Navigation with mouse and information inquiry cannot be used during the process)
  Click this icon, and then draw a rectangle on the map by holding the left mouse button. The map will zoom in on the rectangular region.
Zoom out  (Navigation with mouse and information inquiry cannot be used during the process)
  Click this icon, and then draw a rectangle on the map by holding the left mouse button. The map will zoom out in accordance with the scale.
Pan
  Click this icon, and then drag the map by holding the left mouse button.
The previous view
  Click this icon to rewind the map to the previous view
The next view
  Click this icon to wind the map to the next view
Print
  Click this icon to open a new window and enable the print function. (If there are problems, clickhere)
 
   Map Navigation with Mouse:
  Zoom in
  - Scroll the mouse-wheel onward when the cursor places on the map
- Draw a rectangle on the map by holding the “Shift” button and the left mouse button.
- Double click the left mouse button on the map by holding the “Shift” button.
- Use the “+” button of the keyboard
  Zoom out
  - Scroll the mouse-wheel backward when the cursor places on the map.
- Use the “-” button of the keyboard.
  Pan
  - Drag the map by holding the left mouse button.
- Use “↑”, “↓”, “←”, “→” buttons of the keyboard.
 
   Map Navigation with other modes:
Zoom slider

Click the upper arrow to zoom in.
Click the lower arrow to zoom out.
Drag the zoom slider up or down, or click any nodes on the zoom slider to zoom in/out

Skeleton Diagram
A skeleton diagram can display the overview of Macao with a frame in blue to show the region that displays in the main map. The frame will vary during map navigation. You can also click on any location on the skeleton diagram in order to wind the main map to the location that you have chosen. Click the arrow at the lower right corner to open or close the skeleton diagram.

 

Map Information Inquiry

   Map Navigation with Toolbar:
Information Inquiry
  After using the zoom in/zoom out function of the toolbar,it is necessary to click this icon (information inquiry) before proceeding with its function on constructions and scenic spots.
 
   Map Navigation with Mouse:
  Click on any constructions or scenic spots on the map to display its information with a window when the map zooms in to an appropriate scale.
